SAC Member Artist Show 2018

Kate Wilcox-Leigh's Leather Trillion Framed in Sterling Silver at SAC

Award Winner SAC Member Artist Show 2018

I was able to finish this neck piece just in time to submit it to the Shiawassee Art Center’s Member Artist Show 2018.  This has been in the works for a couple of years.  It takes time to create great work.  Any artist can tell you that.  I am very pleased to have accomplished this finally.  It won’t be alone for long.  I will be building up this new line of leather work in the coming months so stay tuned.

Would you like to get updates on things happening with Adornment by Kate Wilcox-Leigh?  If so then why not sign up for my mailing list?

There is still time to check out the show, it runs through June 24th.  It is well worth it!

Suburban Antiquarian is Moving!

Suburban Antiquarian is moving!

I have enjoyed meeting customers at Suburban Antiquarian.  It has been a privilege to share my work first hand with the public in a retail environment. I am definitely going to miss that!  Even though Suburban Antiquarian is moving there is a positive side.

The benefit to both my loyal admirers and myself is that the studio time I have will be devoted solely to my practice. You can expect to see great things in the future! If you are in the mid Michigan area we can still meet up at a local café and discuss projects.

Visit the Lansing Art Gallery in downtown Lansing to see my work in person.  Also, Michigan Market in Williamston has a selection of my jewelry along with other creations all made in Michigan.

After September my work will no longer be displayed in Suburban Antiquarian. We are changing the format of our business and will be moving the store into booth M9 at The Mega Mall, antiques mall in Lansing.  A selection of our vintage items can be found online in our Etsy shop Suburban Antiquarian.  Our music selection has moved to Discogs.  Follow along with us on our continuing adventures!
